Poděkování pacientky z Jihoafrické republiky

V srpnu 2024 jsme provedli mini invazivní korekci vbočeného palce u pacientky z Jihoafrické republiky. Zaujalo jí provedení operace mini invazivně a současně nenašla jiné evropské pracoviště, kde by jí udělali operaci i v lokální anestezii a s použitím vstřebatelných šroubů. Po předešlé online konzultaci jsme naplánovali operační termín u nás v České republice.

"I underwent bunion surgery (left foot) under the care of Dr. Holinka due to advanced deformity and severe pain. 
As I reside abroad the consultation took place online, which included preparation for the procedure. The surgery itself was painless (local numbing), and was conducted with the utmost professionalism. The doctor provided comprehensive explanations throughout the process, and his healthcare staff were exceptionally friendly. The recovery period was significantly shorter than with traditional invasive procedures. The first 3 days were bed rest, followed by 14 days of using crutches, and then 6 weeks in a medical boot. After 3 months, I was able to run 8 kilometers. Now, not even after a year, I am preparing for a half-marathon. I am very satisfied with the results and plan to undergo a corrective procedure on my other foot next year.
